Peak Performance High Altitude Organic Coffee. No Pesticides, Fair Trade, Non GMO, and Beans Full Of Antioxidants! Medium Roast Low Acid Smooth Tasting USDA Certified Organic Ground Coffee 12oz Bag
  • FAIR TRADE - USDA CERTIFIED ORGANIC - SINGLE ORIGIN - HIGH ALTITUDE. IF WE COULD MAKE THIS COFFEE ANY HEALTHIER WE WOULD! MEDIUM ROAST. ALSO COMES WITH FREE SPECIAL REPORT CALLED "HOW TO MAKE THE HEALTHIEST CUP OF COFFEE"
  • Healthy Coffee Rule #1) Always Go Organic. Why? Because conventional coffee is one of the most heavily treated crops with pesticides, fungicides, and herbicides. One of the many health risks with these chemicals is that they can act as "xenoestrogens" in your body disrupting hormone balance for both men and women.
  • Healthy Coffee Rule #2) Coffee Grown At High Altitude Is Better. Why? Because the higher the altitude the coffee is grown at, the denser the bean. You may have heard the term "Strictly Hard Bean" (SHB) which denotes an especially dense, high-altitude coffee. This Peak Performance Organic Coffee grown in the Guatemalan Highlands is a perfect example of this. This higher elevation bean is more dense and thus of a higher quality grade. High Altitude Coffee also tends to have more antioxidants!
  • Healthy Coffee Rule #3) Single Origin Coffee Is Better. Why? Because while "Blended" Coffee like a "Breakfast Blend" might sound cool... there's a much higher likelihood that at least one of the bean varieties that went into that blend was contaminated (coffee has been commonly known to be contaminated with energy robbing mold), meaning the entire batch is now contaminated.
  • 100% HAPPINESS GUARANTEE - TRY PEAK PERFORMANCE ORGANIC COFFEE COMPLETELY RISK FREE. Yemen Coffee

Yemen and Ethiopia the home of coffee are found across from each other via the oceans. Coffee has been grown in Yemen for very many years. Yemen even suggests that coffee really originated from there. Sufi monks were the very pioneers of coffee growing around 1450 and even brewed the coffee. Since then the religious monks spread their knowledge for this special drink who also adopted it.

The country remained a coffee monopoly for long (for centuries) where Al Mokha was coffee market hub center. Though the country served as coffee majors for long the industry have since then declined due to coffee growing spreading all over the world and its surplus increasing daily. The down fall has also been attributed to civil issues and disease epidemics.

Coffee beans from Yemen are commonly referred to as the Yemen mocha. The name means Yemen classics which are grown organically. The beans are usually characterized by earthy, complex and full bodied flavor.

Yemen coffee beans are very winey and rich in acidity with notes of raisins, cinnamon and spices and a finishing of chocolaty tones. The coffees can also have tobacco, woody or earthy overtones. The outstanding quality of the Yemen coffee is the chocolate flavor which has influenced people to add chocolate to their coffees to imitate the Yemen coffee.

The harvesting period in Yemen is November to December. The main processing method is through sun drying which is mainly done on farmer’s houses roof tops. The pulps and waste cherries are utilized in making cascara (gishr).

One of the key objectives he had is divert his countrymen from growing unsuitable crops like Khat and return to coffee growing.

The young fellow brought back sustainable coffee sustainable farming practices and encouraged the farmers to farm quality products through providing training to them. The company was even boosted further when Blue Bottle put their blue label on their coffees. This has helped very much to revive the coffee industry in the country since the coffees with the blue label are quite expensive.
